Moonlight Peaks Known Issues: July 2026 Launch Window

From the July 9 Steam known-issues post through late-July publisher patches, here is what is fixed on PC 1.1.45, what console and Android builds addressed separately, and what to still watch for.

On July 9, 2026, the Moonlight Peaks team posted a Known Issues notice on Steam. Through late July the publisher shipped a rapid patch ladder — 1.1.38, 1.1.41, 1.1.44, and 1.1.45 on PC, with Switch / Switch 2 around 1.1.46 and Google Play Games around 1.1.51. This page tracks what those builds addressed and what still needs a platform-specific eye.

Fixed on recent PC builds (through 1.1.45)

  • Short freezes every 5–20 seconds; slow-walk after doors; Nokturna new-card soft lock (1.1.38).
  • Plot-wide House Storage, Quick Transfer, earlier embroidery, many cutscene / gift soft locks, missing-save restore (1.1.41).
  • Invisible embroidery table, rainy-night crop growth, post-upgrade load failures, Steam mid-save corruption hardening (1.1.44).
  • Recover the Moon escape, Loveage Gift Exchange soft lock, Back to the Den achievement, Luna shop animals after Pumpkin Head, Bee House / Firefly memory leaks, farm-helper performance (1.1.45).

Platform-only fixes after mid-July

  • Switch / Switch 2 (1.1.46 wave) — L+R button issues addressed in publisher notes.
  • Google Play Games (through 1.1.51) — infinite launch loading, cloud-save failures (including when the app loses focus), and Marshmallow date roast-input fixes called out separately.

Still watch for (may vary by platform)

  • Load times on Nintendo hardware — improved on PC; console players should re-test after their latest store build.
  • Indoor inventory lag — large cottage inventories can still stutter on weaker hardware.
  • Vempster almanac display quirks — achievement unlock was patched; UI tracking may still need verification per save.
  • Single dialogue per NPC per day — design friction covered in community feedback.
  • Shop and romance edge cases — publisher teased further Luna shop work in 1.2.

Practical advice

  1. Confirm your client shows at least Steam 1.1.45 (or the matching console / Android number above) before a marathon session.
  2. Save before major quest turn-ins, gift exchanges, and Nokturna reward boards.
  3. Prefer a gamepad on Deck / PC if pointer mode misbehaves — see controls.

Frequently Asked Questions

Were the launch freezes fixed?

PC patch 1.1.38 addressed short freezes every 5—20 seconds. Later patches through 1.1.45 also improved farm-helper performance and several soft locks. Confirm your store build number.

Is Recover the Moon still soft-locked?

Patch 1.1.45 recovers saves that escaped the quest without finishing — affected players auto-advance after starting the next day on a patched build.
